Silica fume is widely used in bridge construction

Silica fume for urban road commercial concrete(silica fume for 90%,92%,95%) it can be used as an additive in the construction of a variety of urban roads in the commercial concrete, used to improve the water secretion of commercial concrete, corrosion resistance and so on.The amount of microsilica per unit volume of concrete is decreasing, especially for concrete exposed to chloride salts. Initially, bridge deck concrete contained 12 to 15 per cent microsilica (by weight of cement), and then in subsequent years the microsilica(Heavy density silica fume) content was reduced to about 8 per cent. At present, if used in combination with fly ash or ground slag, the amount of silica powder is reduced to about 5 %. There are no empirical methods for silica fume concrete mix design and performance prediction, but existing guidelines and mixing examples can be consulted. It is necessary to carry out laboratory and field tests with the actual materials used in the project to determine the final mix ratio. Microsilica-flour concrete is sensitive to plastic shrinkage cracking, but this problem can be easily overcome.
