Mbbr filter media(k1 media,k3 meida,k5 media) is a carrier material used in biological biofilter aquarium treatment processes, mainly providing a place for microorganisms to attach and grow, in order to promote their degradation and transformation of pollutants.

Physical characteristics

Having a large specific surface area is beneficial for microbial enrichment and biofilm formation.
