The SL-GR1L is the linear member of Synno's inground range - a slim stainless-steel bar that recesses flush into paving, cement and stone, turning a floor into a line of light. Inside its brushed frame, high-power LEDs sit behind individual convex lenses, and the whole fixture runs either directly from mains AC100-265V or from safe low voltage AC/DC12-24V. From a 200mm accent to a one-metre light bar, the family lines plazas, stair risers, building bases and garden steps with colour and glow.

Five Powers, Five Lengths - Build the Line

The SL-GR1L comes in five power levels, each matched to a length so a run can be composed piece by piece. The 3W bar measures just 200mm across for tight accents; 5W stretches to 300mm; 9W to 600mm; and the 18W and 24W versions run a full metre with 1440 and 1920 lumens. Brightness scales evenly at 80 lumens per watt throughout, so the same visual rhythm holds whether the line is a short doorstep marker or a long plaza inlay. Selectable beam angles from 8 to 120 degrees let the same body narrow to a crisp accent or widen to a soft wash, and each LED carries its own convex lens for high brightness and even output.

Three Wiring Schemes - Mains, Low Voltage or DMX

Installation is unusually flexible because the SL-GR1L works with three wiring schemes. High voltage lamp wiring connects the fixtures directly to AC100-265V mains - no transformer at all, and multiple units can be cascaded on one run. Low voltage lamp wiring feeds an AC/DC12-24V adapter and then daisy-chains the units for safe, touch-friendly circuits. RGB light wiring uses a DMX512 controller with a DC12-24V supply and sub-control, so colour-chasing and scene changes can be programmed across a whole installation. Wiring is terminated in the fixture's three-position terminal block, and because up to four units can be linked on a single run, long lines need fewer feeds.

Eight-Step Recessed Installation with Embedded Body

Each fixture installs into a plastic embedded body that is cast into the paving. First wire the three-position terminal; second, feed the cable through the body; third, prepare the light and the embedded body. Fourth, cut the opening in the floor, lay the power cable through the wire hole and cast the body into the cement. Fifth, seat the light into the body; sixth, connect the power and fix the unit flush. Seventh, confirm the fit and finish; eighth, switch on. The result is a stainless frame sitting level with the paving, sealed by an IP65 waterproof nut and aluminum gland that keeps moisture out - and because the fixture is recessed rather than surface-mounted, the floor stays clean and walkable.

Colour, Quality and Long Service

Lamp beads are customizable: choose a white light at 3000K, 4000K or 6000K, a single colour in red, green, blue or yellow, or a full RGB 3-in-1 version under DMX control. Chips are available from CREE, OSRAM, Epistar, Bridgelux and LUMINUS to suit the project budget - the same suppliers behind the high-brightness, high-colour-rendering output that makes these bars read as architectural lines rather than utility lighting. With no UV or IR radiation, no gas or mercury, low power consumption and a low temperature rise, the SL-GR1L is efficient as well as durable, and its die-cast aluminum housing with the stainless-steel face and tempered glass deliver corrosion resistance, impact resistance and long life up to 50,000 hours.
