Single valve with double tanks Water Softener System
It has one softener valve controlling two resin tanks, one resin tank is in service, the other is in regeneration or standby. One valve with double tanks can allow supplying soft water continuously, and is used in application which requires soft water available without interruption, such as boiler system. In this system, it only has one Brine Tank, which can save floor space and procurement cost comparing two sets of water softeners.
When adopts single valve with double tanks water softener, if inlet water hardness is not high and long time of service, the resin tank may standby for quite a long time. When it switches to service, the outlet water of beginning running may be out of standard. In order to solve this problem, this valve usually delay fast rinse, which means after brine refill, this tank will be standby, until before switching to service, it starts to fast rinse to make sure outlet water is qualifified at the beginning of running.
