Product Description
Crosslinking agents are also known as hardeners, hardeners, vulcanizing agents, etc., which can transform linear or micro-branched polymers into three-dimensional network structures to improve the strength, heat resistance, wear resistance and solvent resistance of the material. There are many kinds of crosslinking agents, including organic peroxides, polyamines, polyols, metal oxides, etc., which can be cross-linked with polymer chains through different chemical reactions. The application field of crosslinkers is very wide, covering rubber, plastics, coatings, textiles, medical devices and other industries
Application
1, fabric finishing: In improving the anti-wrinkle performance of the fabric, multi-functional crosslinking agents can form cross-linking bonds with fiber molecules, limiting the movement of fiber molecules, thereby reducing the formation of wrinkles in the fabric during wearing and washing. For dimensional stability of the fabric, the crosslinking agent can fix the structure of the fiber and prevent the fabric from dimensional changes during washing or stretching.
2, fiber modification: When natural fibers are modified, multi-functional crosslinking agents can introduce new functional groups to improve the performance of natural fibers. For example, the introduction of hydrophilic groups in the hemp fiber can improve the hygroscopic property and wearing comfort of the hemp fabric, while enhancing its strength and reducing the risk of fracture. In synthetic fibers, crosslinking agents can improve their dyeing properties. Some synthetic fibers were originally difficult to dye, after treatment with crosslinking agents, the chemical structure of the fiber surface changes, and the dye is more easily attached, thus improving the depth and uniformity of dyeing, and expanding the color application range of synthetic fibers.
