DMDM hydantoin, Cas:6440-58-0 can be widely used in cosmetics and personal care products such as shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, cream, lotion, conditioner, gel, and wet wipes, as well as daily chemical products such as cleaning agents. It is recommended to use a concentration of 0.2-0.6%, with a suitable pH range of 2-10, and good compatibility with cationic, anionic, and nonionic surfactants. DMDMH appears as a clear, transparent, viscous liquid with a characteristic odor of formaldehyde. It is completely dissolved in water at the recommended dosage; Storing at temperatures below 15 ℃ may result in crystallization, and it should be heated to 40 degrees before use; The shelf life is usually 24 months at room temperature. DMDMH has good water solubility, which means it can achieve the best anti-corrosion effect in water. The low concentration of free formaldehyde it contains ensures long-term excellent anti-corrosion ability.DMDMH remains stable over a wide range of pH and temperature, unaffected by anionic, cationic, and non-ionic surfactants. It is recommended to be used within the pH range of 3-10 and at temperatures below 60 ℃.
