When the fluid enters the diffusion section, the vortex flow is subjected to backflow and begins to undergo secondary rotation, forming a gyroscopic vortex precession phenomenon. Vortex generator: composed of specific spiral blades, fixed at the front end of the shell contraction section, forcing the fluid to generate strong vortex flow.
Detection element: Installed near the throat of the expansion tube, commonly used thermal, piezoelectric, strain, capacitive, or fiber optic detection elements to measure the frequency signal of vortex precession.
Rectifier: Fixed at the outlet of the flowmeter body, its function is to eliminate vortex flow and reduce the impact of downstream flow state on instrument measurement.
Shell: A flow channel designed in a certain shape to form vortices, fix and protect the components installed inside, and connect to the pipeline through flanges.
Conversion display instrument: The weak voltage signal detected by the piezoelectric sensor is amplified, filtered, and shaped into a pulse signal with a frequency proportional to the flow rate, and then counted and displayed by the display instrument. The display instrument is equipped with an output interface to output various signals. It can compensate for the temperature and pressure of the measured gas medium, convert it to the volume flow rate under standard conditions, and display it.
