Wear-resistant ceramic grooves are composite structures formed byhigh-temperature vulcanizationof high-purity alumina ceramics (Al₂O₃ content ≥92%) with rubber or steel plates. Designed to address wear issues in industrial equipment caused byhigh impact, high temperatures, and corrosive media, they are widely used in conveying systems such as chutes, pipes, and ball mills.

• Hardness & Wear Resistance:

• Alumina ceramics have a Mohs hardness of 9 (second only to diamond), with wear resistance 260 times that of manganese steel and 170 times that of chrome steel.

• Special formulations likeZTA ceramics(zirconia-toughened alumina) further enhance impact and fracture resistance.

• Chemical Stability:

• Resistant to acid, alkali, and oil corrosion, suitable for complex industrial environments.

• Temperature Adaptability:

• Operating temperature range of -50℃ to 200℃, thermal conductivity of 2W/m·K, suitable for high-temperature applications.

• Bonding Strength:

• Ceramic-to-rubber adhesion strength >3.5MPa, ensured by vulcanization for long-term durability.

3. Manufacturing Process Overview

• Composite Techniques:

• Rubber Vulcanization: Ceramic blocks are embedded in rubber and vulcanized at high temperatures (150-180℃).

• Steel Plate Bonding: Ceramics are directly bonded to steel grooves, with countersunk bolts for reinforcement.

• Molding Technologies:

• Static Pressing: For standard grooves, ensuring ceramic density.

• Hot Press Casting: For irregular shapes (e.g., elbows), molded and sintered.

• Mining Industry: Chute liners, slurry pipeline elbows.
