The versatility of our Dry type transformers allows them to be deployed across a diverse range of settings, including:

(1) High insulation strength: The epoxy resin used for casting has an insulation breakdown field strength of 18~22kV/mm, and has roughly the same lightning impulse strength as the oil-immersed transformer of the same voltage level.

(2) Strong short-circuit resistance: Due to the material properties of the resin and the fact that the winding is cast as a whole, it becomes a rigid body after being heated and cured, so the mechanical strength is very high. The sudden short-circuit test has proved that cast dry-type transformers are rarely damaged by short circuits.

(3) Outstanding disaster prevention performance: Epoxy resin is flame-retardant and can extinguish itself, so it will not cause secondary disasters such as explosions. (4) Excellent environmental performance: Epoxy resin is a chemically extremely stable material that is moisture-proof and dust-proof. It can operate reliably even in harsh environments such as polluted air, and can even operate normally at 100% humidity. It can be put into operation again without drying and preheating after shutdown.

(5) Maintenance-free: Due to the perfect temperature control and temperature display system, epoxy cast dry-type transformers can now be maintenance-free, which can greatly reduce the burden on operators and reduce operating costs.

Technical features

The core is made of high-quality cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel sheets, 45° full-bevel joints, five-step lamination method, and the core column and iron yoke are both multi-stage circular cross-section shapes, which can obtain smaller no-load loss and lower noise.

Each phase is equipped with an independent axial flow fan and a split temperature controller to effectively reduce temperature rise, increase transformer output capacity, and ensure safe operation of the transformer.
