Red Transparent Plastic Film is a transparent plastic film made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyester (PET) or polycarbonate (PC) as the base material, by adding pigments and optical diffusion particles. Its surface presents a uniform color effect, while allowing some light to penetrate, forming a soft light and shadow effect. It is widely used in advertising signs, decorative design, lighting engineering and other fields, and has become an ideal material for visual enhancement and functional protection.

Product Features

1. Optical performance

Light transmittance: The light transmittance of the PVC Clear Film with a thickness of 0.1mm-0.5mm ranges from 40% to 80% (ASTM D1003 standard). After the light penetrates, it forms a soft diffuse reflection effect to avoid the glare of direct light.

Color saturation: Using high-concentration pigments (such as phthalocyanine blue, quinacridone red), the color saturation is ≥90%, and there is no obvious fading after long-term exposure to sunlight (≥500 hours).

Light diffusion: Contains light diffusion particles (such as PMMA microspheres), with a particle diameter of 5-20μm, so that the light is refracted multiple times inside the film and scattered evenly.

2. Physical properties

Thickness and strength: thickness range 0.05mm-2.0mm, tensile strength ≥20MPa, elongation at break ≥180%, can withstand pulling and folding without breaking.

Temperature resistance: operating temperature range -20℃ to 70℃, heat deformation temperature ≥65℃, can withstand high temperature of 80℃ in a short period of time, avoid PVC Transparent Film warping or color change due to thermal deformation.

Chemical resistance: tolerant to weak acids (such as lemon juice) and weak alkalis (such as baking soda solution), neutral detergent can be used for cleaning.

3. Processing and customization

Thickness and size: thickness range 0.05mm-2.0mm, width up to 450mm-2000mm, support customized cutting, error ≤±1mm.

Embossing and surface treatment: more than 30 embossing options are provided (such as frosted, glossy, diamond pattern), and the surface can be covered with anti-scratch film or anti-fog film to improve durability.

Weather resistance and stability: heat resistance ≥ 100℃, weather resistance up to level 4 (ASTM G154 standard), can be exposed to outdoor environment for a long time.

4. Environmental protection and safety

Non-toxic and harmless: REACH and RoHS compliant, VOC content ≤ 25g/L, no phthalates (Phthalates) and bisphenol A (BPA).

Food contact safety: FDA 21 CFR 177.1950 certified, can be used for packaging or labeling scenarios with indirect contact with food.

Cleaning and Maintenance Guide

1. Daily Cleaning

Dust Treatment: Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the surface to avoid scratching the film surface.

Light stains: Use a damp cloth dipped in a neutral detergent (such as a detergent solution with a pH value of 6-8) to gently wipe, then rinse with clean water.

2. Stubborn Stains

Ink: Use isopropyl alcohol (concentration ≤70%) to partially wipe, then rinse with clean water.

Glue Residue: Apply a small amount of cooking oil to soften the colloid, and then use a plastic shovel to gently scrape it off.

3. Long-term Maintenance

Sunscreen Protection: Avoid long-term exposure to sunlight. It is recommended to roll up and store in a cool place (temperature ≤25℃) to prevent the film from fading or aging.

Anti-crease: When folding and storing, it is recommended to use a paper tube to support the film with a thickness of ≥0.3mm to avoid permanent creases.

Anti-aging: Spray the surface with anti-ultraviolet spray (such as a care agent containing PVC ultraviolet absorber) every quarter to extend the service life.

4. Repair and renovation

Small area damage: Use the same material film patch + special glue (such as HH-66) to repair, and pressurize for 24 hours after repair.

Surface scratches: Mild scratches can be lightly polished with fine sandpaper (1200 mesh), and then treated with PVC polishing agent.

Fading treatment: Partial fading can be re-sprayed; if large areas are faded, it is recommended to replace the new film (more economical).
