Purple Clear PVC Vinyl Rolls

Clear PVC Vinyl Rolls is a translucent plastic film made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin as the base material by adding fluorescent purple pigments and ultraviolet absorbers. Its surface presents high-brightness fluorescent purple, with high light transmittance and anti-aging properties. It is widely used in advertising signs, safety warnings, decorative design and other fields, becoming an ideal material for visual enhancement and functional protection.

 

 

1. Fluorescent effect and optical properties

Fluorescent intensity: It uses industrial-grade fluorescent purple pigments (purity ≥99%), with a fluorescence wavelength range of 550-580nm, and the brightness is 200% higher than that of ordinary purple PVC, which is significantly brighter under sunlight or ultraviolet light.

Transmittance: The transmittance of the film with a thickness of 0.1mm-0.5mm is ≥80% (ASTM D1003 standard). The translucent property makes the light present a soft fluorescent purple halo after passing through, enhancing the visual impact.

Anti-ultraviolet performance: Add PVC ultraviolet absorber (such as UV-P type), transmittance 460nm ≥ 90%, 500nm ≥ 95%, can inhibit fluorescence fading, and extend outdoor service life to more than 3 years.

2. Physical and chemical properties

Thickness and strength: thickness range 0.05mm-2.0mm, tensile strength ≥ 20MPa, elongation at break ≥ 180%, can withstand pulling and folding without breaking.

Temperature resistance: operating temperature range -20℃ to 60℃, heat deformation temperature ≥ 65℃, can withstand high temperature of 75℃ in a short period of time, avoid fluorescence effect attenuation due to thermal deformation.

Chemical resistance: Tolerant to weak acids (such as lemon juice) and weak alkalis (such as baking soda solution), neutral detergent can be used for cleaning.

3. Processing and customization

Thickness and size: thickness range 0.05mm-2.0mm, width up to 450mm-2000mm, support customized cutting, error ≤±1mm.

Embossing and surface treatment: more than 30 embossing options are available (such as frosted, glossy, diamond pattern), and the surface can be covered with anti-scratch film or anti-fog film to improve durability.

Weather resistance and stability: heat resistance ≥100℃, weather resistance up to level 4 (ASTM G154 standard), can be exposed to outdoor environment for a long time.

Food contact safety: FDA 21 CFR 177.1950 certified, can be used for packaging or labeling scenarios with indirect contact with food.

Cleaning and maintenance guide

1. Daily cleaning

Dust treatment: Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove surface dust to avoid scratching the fluorescent coating.

Mild stains: Use a damp cloth dipped in a neutral detergent (such as a detergent solution with a pH value of 6-8) to gently wipe, then rinse with clean water.

2. Stubborn stains

Ink: Use isopropyl alcohol (concentration ≤70%) to wipe locally, then rinse with clean water.

Glue residue: Apply a small amount of cooking oil to soften the colloid, and then use a plastic shovel to gently scrape it off.

3. Long-term maintenance

Sun protection: Avoid long-term exposure to sunlight. It is recommended to roll it up and store it in a cool place (temperature ≤25℃) to prevent the fluorescent pigment from fading.

Anti-crease: When folding and storing, it is recommended to use a paper tube to support the PVC Clear Film with a thickness of ≥0.3mm to avoid permanent creases.

Anti-aging: Spray the surface with anti-ultraviolet spray (such as care agent containing PVC ultraviolet absorber) every quarter to extend the service life.

4. Repair and renovation

Small area damage: Repair with PVC patch of the same material + special glue (such as HH-66), and pressurize for 24 hours after repair.

Surface scratches: Mild scratches can be gently polished with fine sandpaper (1200 mesh), and then treated with PVC polishing agent.

Fading treatment: Partial fading can be re-sprayed; if large-area fading, it is recommended to replace the new film (more economical).
