3240 epoxy board is a commonly used insulating material. During production, CNC machining is often used, which is called "insulation material cnc machining". Through "insulation material processing",it can be made into various "insulation material cnc machined parts", such as insulating brackets and the like. CNC machining has high precision, capable of milling and drilling, and the parts produced are both accurate and practical.

The 3240 epoxy board is made by impregnating electrical glass cloth with epoxy resin, followed by drying and hot-pressing. It belongs to laminated products. It is available in various sizes, and you can select the best size for your product according to the following size recommendations.

Size Options

Sheet sizes (length x width):

1220mm x 2440mm – The big daddy of sheets! Ideal when you’ve got a bunch of pieces to cut in one go.

1000mm x 2000mm – Sweet spot for small to mid-sized projects—no reason to go overboard.

Custom sizes：
just ask your supplier. Need a 500mm x 500mm square or something totally oddball They’ve got you.

Thickness choices:

Thin (0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm) – Best for lightweight stuff, like insulation gaskets or small electronics.

Mid-range (3mm, 5mm, 6mm) – The go-to for mechanical supports or mold bases.

Thick (10mm, 12mm, 20mm) – Built to handle serious weight—think heavy-duty structural parts.

When to use what:

Electrical insulation： Stick with 1-3mm thin sheets—small sizes (like 100mm x 100mm) usually do the trick.

PCB backing plates： 2-5mm thickness works, but double-check your machine’s table size first.

Molds：Go for 5-12mm, and remember to account for extra material you’ll carve away.

Mechanical parts： 10-20mm thick plates are your friend—just match the thickness to the load they’ll carry.
