Oil- free scroll air compressor
Oil-free scroll air compressor is renowned for their quiet operation, reliability, and high efficiency. The most significant feature is the ability to provide oil-free compressed air. This type air compressor is commonly used in industries with extremely high environmental air quality requirements, such as laboratories, hospitals, and food and beverage processing plants.
Designed to provide pristine and dependable compressed air while minimizing maintenance needs and ecological footprint, scroll air compressors employ a pair of nested spiral scrolls. One scroll remains stationary, whereas the other follows an orbital path, sequentially capturing and compressing air within progressively smaller chambers. The lack of oil in the compression process guarantees that the delivered air is free from contaminants, rendering it perfect for environments where air purity is critical. This design choice not only curtails contamination risks but also alleviates the expenses and logistical challenges tied to oil-related upkeep and waste disposal.V&T offers a range of specialized compressors including medical air compressors, 3 phase scroll compressor, beverage air compressor, oil free dental compressors, and food compressor.
Moreover, the oilless air compressor is celebrated for their silent operation and superior energy efficiency. Generating minimal heat and featuring a reduced number of moving components, they contribute to decreased utility costs and lower emissions, enhancing operational sustainability.
Technical Principle
The working principle of the rotary scroll compressor consists of a pair of scroll plates: a fixed stationary scroll plate and a moving scroll plate that rotates eccentrically around the stationary scroll plate.
Intake stage: Air is drawn into the crescent-shaped sealed chamber containing the moving and stationary scroll plates through the intake port on the outside of the scroll plates.
Compression stage: Driven by a motor, the moving scroll plate rotates eccentrically around the center of the stationary scroll plate. As the moving scroll plate rotates in the sequence shown in Figures 1-2-3-4, the volume of each crescent-shaped compression chamber gradually decreases, thus continuously compressing the intake air, and consequently increasing its pressure and temperature.
Exhaust stage: Compressed air is discharged through the outlet.
