Copper foil tape is a metal tape made of high-purity copper foil (≥ 99.95%) as the substrate, coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive. Its core function is electromagnetic shielding (EMI shielding), which is divided into two principles:

Electrical signal shielding: relying on the excellent conductivity of copper itself, it blocks high-frequency interference by reflecting or absorbing electromagnetic waves.

Magnetic signal shielding: Conductive substances (such as nickel) need to be added to the adhesive surface to suppress low-frequency magnetic field interference using the characteristics of magnetic materials.

Application area

Copper foil tape is suitable for electromagnetic shielding in various electronic products such as transformers, mobile phones, computers, PDAs, PDPs, LCD displays, laptops, copiers, etc.

1. Electromagnetic shielding of electronic products

Equipment types: mobile phones, laptops, LCD displays, transformers, communication devices, etc.

Function: Isolate internal circuit interference, prevent external electromagnetic waves from affecting the function, and also provide electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).

2. Industrial and Home Appliance Scenarios

Pipeline wrapping: Insulation for air conditioning/refrigerator steam ducts to reduce heat loss.

Alternative material: Replace enameled wire for transformer winding shielding.

3. Special purpose

Lithium battery manufacturing: current collector material (electronic grade copper foil).

High frequency transmission: Cable shielding layer to suppress signal attenuation.

4.Other purposes

• Guitar, stained glass, soldering, paper circuits, educational aid, electrical repairs, household repairs, bonding, grounding, DIY projects, decoration, crafts and so on.

• Preventing Slugs: Copper tape can be installed to the surface of the pot, which plants by preventing slugs and snails from climbing up the seedlings
