POM sheets come in lots of common sizes. Here’s how they’re used:

Car industry: They make parts like universal shafts, carburetors, and window hinges. They use sheets 5mm-20mm thick, 600mm-1000mm wide, and 1000mm-2000mm long. For small gears or shaft sleeves, a 5mm thick sheet (600mm×1000mm) works. For bigger interior parts or structural bits, a 10mm thick one (1000mm×2000mm) is better.

Electronics and electrical stuff: They make switches, terminals, and tape reels. Thinner sheets are used—0.5mm-5mm thick, 510mm-610mm wide, around 1000mm long. For electronic switch insulators, a 0.5mm thick sheet (510mm×1000mm) is good. For larger device shells, a 3mm thick one (610mm×1220mm) fits.

Machine making: They’re good for gears, levers, pulleys, and sprockets. Size depends on the part’s size and how much stress it takes. Thickness is 3mm-50mm, width and length 600mm-2000mm. Small sprockets might use a 3mm thick sheet (600mm×1200mm). Big gears need 20mm-50mm thick sheets (1000mm×2000mm).

Building and bathroom parts: They make faucets and bathtub parts. Sheets are 5mm-15mm thick, 600mm-1000mm wide, 1000mm-2000mm long. Faucet handles can use a 5mm thick sheet (600mm×1000mm). Larger bathroom partitions need a 10mm thick one (1000mm×2000mm).

Precision instruments: They make parts for precise tools. They need accurate sizes—sheets 1mm-10mm thick, 100mm-500mm wide, 100mm-1000mm long. Size depends on the instrument’s design. Small guide rails for these tools might use a 2mm thick sheet (100mm×500mm).
