The removable plate heat exchanger consists of multiple thin sheets with embossed wavy surfaces, arranged at specific intervals, sealed at the edges with gaskets, and compressed by an overlapping frame and tightening screw. The four corner holes in the plates and gaskets form distribution and collection tubes for the fluid, effectively separating hot and cold fluids while forcing them to flow through channels on opposite sides of each plate, achieving heat exchange via the plates.

Design Features:

1. High energy efficiency: the heat transfer coefficient is 3000–4500 kcal/m²·°C·h, which is 3–5 times more efficient than that of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger.

2. Compact design: The plate heat exchanger features closely spaced plates, occupying less area and space compared to other types of heat exchangers. With the same area, the heat exchange capacity of the plate heat exchanger is only 1/5 that of the tube heat exchanger.

3. Easy cleaning and disassembly: The plate heat exchanger is secured with clamping bolts, ensuring convenient disassembly and assembly, the possibility of cleaning at any time, and thanks to the smooth plate surface and high turbulence, the likelihood of scale formation is reduced.

4. Long service life: The plate heat exchanger is made of stainless steel or titanium plates, resistant to various corrosive environments, with gaskets that can be easily replaced, and convenient for installation and disassembly for maintenance.

5. High adaptability: The heat exchange plates are independent elements, and their quantity and configuration can be adjusted according to requirements, enabling the device to adapt to various technological processes.

6. There is no fluid leakage; the heat exchanger's joint channels are equipped with drainage outlets to prevent mixing of different media, and in case of a leak, the medium is always discharged outside.

Plate heat exchangers are widely used in metallurgy, mining, petroleum, chemical, energy, pharmaceutical, food, chemical fiber, paper, light industry, shipbuilding, heating supply, and other sectors, and can also be employed for heating, cooling, evaporation, condensation, sterilization, waste heat recovery, and other tasks.
