EVA Roll Foaming Production Line

The mainstream production process is the molding and foaming method:

Mixing: Mix EVA resin, foaming agent, crosslinking agent, lubricant, colorant, and other raw materials according to the recipe until they are evenly combined.

Plasticizing: Heat and plasticize the mixed raw materials in an open mill or internal mixer.

Sheet extrusion: The plasticized material mass is extruded into a sheet of a certain thickness through a calender.

Molded foam: Place the sheet material into a multi-layer hot press. Under high temperature and pressure, the foaming agent decomposes to generate gas, while the crosslinking agent causes EVA molecules to form a three-dimensional network structure, encapsulating the gas and forming a stable closed-cell foam.

Maturation and stabilization: After being removed from the press, it needs to be left undisturbed for a period of time (maturation) to stabilize its dimensions and properties.

Cutting and winding: Finally, according to customer requirements, the material is cut into rolls of different widths and lengths.
