Metal powders (such as iron, copper, steel, stainless steel, etc.) are mixed and filled into precision molds, then pressed into shape under high pressure (referred to as 'green compaction'), and subsequently heated in a high-temperature protective atmosphere furnace to allow the powder particles to fuse together through diffusion, resulting in high-density, high-strength final parts. How are powder metallurgy gears made?

Mixed metal powder and non-metal powder, then placed in a groove and pressed by a machine, this is how a hardware accessory gear is produced, followed by a series of processes such as sintering and heat treatment.
