1)Pressure Regulation:It’s part of the pressure relief valve system. When the internal pressure of the coffee machine goes over the preset value, the PSV straight tube works with the pressure relief valve. They open up together. This releases part of the pressure. It keeps the coffee machine’s internal pressure within a safe range. This stops components from getting damaged or safety accidents from happening because of too much pressure. Like avoiding boilers or pipelines breaking because of overpressure. This regulatory role helps with the safety protection function of Reverse Prevention Valves and Check and Non-Return Valves in systems that are sensitive to pressure.
2)Fluid Transmission:It’s in charge of transmitting water or steam. It sends the fluid (after pressure adjustment) to specific places. For example, it can send steam to the milk frothing device. Or it can send water to the brew head for coffee extraction. This transmission function helps Sealed Fluid Transfer Pumps and Micro Sealed Hydraulic Pumps (used in precision coffee machine water supply systems) work more efficiently in fluid circulation.
3)Equipment Protection:It controls the pressure. This reduces the pressure impact on the coffee machine’s internal components. It makes the service life of key coffee machine parts (like boilers and water pumps) longer. It also lowers the chance of the equipment breaking down. This protective effect meets the durability requirements of Sealed Fluid Direction Control Valves and other critical pump-valve components.
2. Required Characteristics
1)Temperature Resistance:Coffee machines get hot when they work. So the PSV straight tube must stand a certain temperature range. Like from room temperature up to 100℃, or even higher steam temperatures. Under high temperatures, it must not change shape, melt, or release harmful substances. If it releases harmful substances, they could contaminate the beverages. This ability to handle high temperatures meets the environmental adaptability standards of Sealed Diaphragm Pumps and Mini Sealed Valves in high-temperature fluid systems.
2)Corrosion Resistance:The medium it touches is mainly water. This water may have minerals, disinfectants, and other components. So the PSV straight tube must be able to resist corrosion to a certain degree. This stops it from getting damaged by the substances in the water. Common rubber materials like EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) have excellent resistance to water corrosion. This is also a core material advantage of Fluid Check Mechanisms in scenarios where they touch water.
3)Flexibility and Elasticity:It must be flexible enough. This makes it easy to bend during installation. Bending helps it fit different pipeline routes. At the same time, it needs to have good elasticity. When pressure changes cause it to expand and contract many times, it can still go back to its original shape. This makes sure it keeps good sealing performance and works normally in fluid transmission. This mechanical property is like the elastic requirements of sealing components in Sealed Fluid Direction Control Valves.
4)Sealing Performance:The connection parts at both ends of the PSV straight tube must seal well. This stops water or steam from leaking out. It makes sure pressure regulation is accurate and stable.
