Called levelling jacks or scaffold feet, the scaffolding hollow adjustable screw jack base serves as scaffold feet designed to level the scaffold on uneven ground. It comprises a threaded stem, a base plate, and a jack nut.

During construction, the threaded stem of the scaffold jack base must be inserted within the scaffold verticals. To vertically adjust the scaffolding and attain a level horizontal position, rotate the jack nut at the base to raise or lower the scaffolding as required.

Two types of scaffold base jacks exist:

Solid Base Jack
Hollow Base Jack

Solid base jacks, constructed from solid round bars with diameters spanning from OD28 to OD48 mm, are utilized in a variety of systems including frame scaffolding, modular scaffold systems, and high-load shoring systems.

Hollow scaffold base jacks, on the other hand, are crafted from scaffold tubes, which can be either welded or seamless steel tubes. Their diameters range from OD26 mm to OD48 mm.

Within the scaffolding industry, hollow-type scaffold base jacks have gained popularity due to their lightweight nature, ease of manipulation, and capacity to support significant loads from scaffold standards and verticals.
