When the compressor is running, it produces a blend of air along with oil mist vapors. The compressed air that carries small oil particles comes out at the equipment outlet and flows into the NS032620 oil separator. Coalescence happens right there in the separator. The resulting liquid drains down to the bottom and loops back into the equipment circuit. Meanwhile, the clean air moves easily through the fibers in the oil return filter. That air then feeds into the pneumatic system once it leaves the compressor. It might also vent out into the atmosphere after passing the vacuum pump. The filtering materials in the NS032620 separator are top-notch and they really clean up the compressor oil by removing those unwanted contaminants pretty well.

This setup works for equipment such as the INGERSOLL RAND-7/51 starting from serial n°415260. It fits the HP 140 from serial n°415260. The P 150 model applies too. Another version covers the P 150 from serial n°4022900. It also suits the P 180 from serial n°415260. The original part numbers include 92808286.
