The new Changan Eado features a 500-bar ultra-high-pressure direct-injection Blue Whale 1.5T engine, producing a maximum power of 141 kW and a torque of 310 N·m. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 8 seconds, runs on 92-octane gasoline, and boasts a WLTC fuel consumption of 6.2 L/100km, costing only 90 RMB per kilometer. This is 30% more fuel-efficient than a similarly aged 1.6L used car and half the fuel cost of a commercial vehicle (light cargo).

The car is 4.77 meters long with a 2.76-meter wheelbase, offering ample legroom in the rear (about two and a half fists' width). The floor is almost completely flat, and the trunk has a standard capacity of 520 L, extending to nearly 2 meters with the seats folded down.
