The horizontal disc scraper dryer is a new type of contact drying method that fully solves the problems of cleanliness, hygiene, and digital control. The device is located on the side of a rotating hollow disc, and the liquid to be processed is added to the surface through a pressure conduit. Excess liquid is discharged from the disc into the circulation tank below, and a uniform liquid film is dried on the surface of the rotating disc. The liquid to be dried can be untreated, pre treated by fermentation, or concentrated by evaporation, reverse osmosis, or ultrafiltration. Like other dry liquids, pre concentration reduces the necessary water evaporation. The liquid is dried on the surface of the disc to evaporate the solvent (water), and the disc rotates at a certain angle to obtain a solid. The obtained solid material falls into the material collection system for the next process.

After several years of research and development, our company has absorbed a lot of experience from Germany and Japan, and thus developed a revolutionary horizontal disc scraper dryer for liquid processing. The advantages of this device are obvious.

1. It does not belong to pressure vessels and does not require inspection, reducing user manpower and energy.

2. The footprint is smaller, occupying only 2/3 of the drum scraper under the same processing capacity.

3. Due to the blade length being only 30-40 centimeters, there is no need to consider adjusting the fit between the blade and the disc surface.

4. Due to the installation of the blade in the middle of two disks and mutual assistance, there will be no scaling, which will affect the condition of the blade.

5. If the diameter of the fabric tube is usually less than 18mm, the fabric tube will not be blocked, reducing the frequency of shutdown cleaning.

6. If the thickness of the heating plate is usually not more than 10mm, the heat transfer efficiency is higher, and the single square processing capacity can reach 30-50kg/h.

7. In areas with high requirements for exhaust emissions, vacuum depressurization type can also be designed to reduce exhaust emissions while lowering energy consumption.

8. The hardness treatment of the heating plate adopts ion nitriding process. On the basis of no external surface coating, the hardness reaches 70. Do not consider the corrosion of chrome plating. (In specific use environments, the plate surface can be guaranteed for three years)

9. Of course, all equipment has its drawbacks. The disadvantages of the horizontal disc scraper dryer are: high precision of the heating plate, multiple processing steps, so the processing cycle is relatively long, usually around 85-90 days, and 90-95 days in summer. Due to the high precision of the equipment, there is a high demand for personnel's sense of responsibility during installation and use.
