The 2023 Great Wall Cannon 2.0T gasoline four-wheel drive commercial pickup truck is a new car and a representative work of Great Wall Motors in making "utility pickups" more fuel-efficient. The vehicle measures 5413×1934×1886 mm, with a wheelbase of 3230 mm and a drag coefficient of 0.42. It features a black trapezoidal grille and wide wheel arches. The cargo box is 1.76 m long, 10 cm longer than the cargo box of the used Fengjun (old used car), and more agile than the short-wheelbase Ford Transit (commercial vehicle), making U-turns in underground parking garages effortless.

The interior features a black and gray two-tone design, a 9-inch floating central touchscreen and a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, supporting CarPlay. The seats are perforated faux leather, with 8-way power adjustment and heating in the front seats, and adjustable rear seatbacks that can be folded down in a 4/6 split. The floor is almost completely flat, allowing for comfortable seating for three people. The trunk space serves as the cargo bed, with a low cargo platform height of only 880 mm, making loading and unloading easier. Compared to new energy SUVs and pure electric pickup trucks, the battery does not encroach on the cargo bed, making it more reliable for hauling heavy loads.

The entire series is powered by a 2.0T GW4C20B gasoline engine, producing 190 horsepower and 360 N·m of torque, paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. It features part-time four-wheel drive with a low-range gear, achieving a combined fuel consumption of 10.5 L/100 km (based on owner testing), which can be reduced to below 9 L/100 km on highways. It requires only 92-octane gasoline. The chassis features a double wishbone front suspension and a solid rear axle, with three-leaf variable cross-section leaf springs, providing comfort when unloaded and durability when fully loaded. The electronically controlled hydraulic power steering offers a lighter return-to-center effort than the older Fengjun model, ensuring stability and stability even at 120 km/h.

Compared to used pickup trucks, the new vehicle features an LCD instrument panel and vehicle connectivity; compared to new energy vehicles, it eliminates the hassle of charging stations; compared to commercial light commercial vehicles, it retains a non-load-bearing frame and a 3-ton trailer qualification, making it suitable for urban delivery, weekend camping, and hauling goods to construction sites.
