The Dongfeng Yipai 2026 eπ008 is a new car, a sincere effort by a state-owned enterprise to create a "large five-seater family SUV" in the 160,000 RMB range-extended and 170,000 RMB pure electric segment. It measures 5002×1972×1732 mm, with a wheelbase of 3025 mm and a drag coefficient of 0.268. The front features a continuous light strip connecting the split headlights, while the rear boasts an illuminated logo and a continuous taillight. Shorter than a used Toyota Highlander, yet lower than a commercial vehicle like the Volkswagen Tourneo, it offers agile parking and maneuverability in underground garages and on city streets.

The interior features a "mobile family comfort cabin": a 15.6-inch 4K floating screen and a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, equipped with a Qualcomm SA8295P chip, supporting four-zone voice and gesture control; Nappa perforated seats with front heating/ventilation/massage functions; and rear electric "magic carpet" backrests that can be adjusted and folded down in a 4/6 split, creating a flat floor, ensuring comfort for five people on long journeys. The trunk has a standard capacity of 783 L, expanding to a maximum of 1876 L with the folded-down seats. Its 2.4 m depth allows for a double bed. The space is more organized than comparable new energy SUVs in the same price range, and the battery doesn't encroach on the floor.

Powertrain options include range-extended and pure electric options: The range-extended version features a 1.5L range extender + 200 kW rear-mounted motor, offering a pure electric range of 202 km and a combined range of 1220 km. Fuel consumption is 4.76 L/100 km when the battery is depleted, and 3C fast charging from 30% to 80% takes only 15 minutes. The pure electric version boasts 200 kW/340 N·m of torque, offering a range of 620 km and a power consumption of 15.1 kWh per 100 km – ready to go anytime, anywhere. All models come standard with L2-level IQ.Pilot, featuring 28 sensor hardware points and high-precision maps, supporting highway NOA and memory parking, providing a more advanced intelligent driving experience than pure electric new energy vehicles.

Long-term warranty and full configuration

Compared to commercial MPVs, it has a shorter body and is easier to park; compared to used SUVs, the new car has an additional passenger entertainment screen and 4C fast charging; compared to other pure electric new energy vehicles in the same class, it offers a rare 1220 km combined range and 2.4 m double bed space in the 160,000 RMB price range, making it suitable for city commuting, long-distance road trips, and overnight camping.
