I. Basic Definition

A vibrating sand and gravel separator is an environmentally friendly device that uses a high-frequency vibrating screen to efficiently separate and recycle gravel, sand, and slurry from a sand and gravel mixture (especially waste concrete). It is commonly used in mixing plants and sand and gravel yards.

II. Working Principle

1. Vibration and Dispersion: A vibrating motor/exciter drives the screen box to vibrate at high frequency, breaking up clumps of concrete and disrupting the adhesion of sand and gravel.

2. Screening and Grading:

◦ Large-diameter gravel → Upper large-pore screen → Gravel outlet

◦ Sand → Lower small-pore screen → Sand outlet

◦ Slurry and water → Pass through the screen → Slurry tank

3. Cleaning and Recycling: High-pressure water jet cleaning is used in conjunction with the separation process. The separated sand and gravel can be directly reused, while the slurry is recycled after sedimentation/pressure filtration.
