Product details
1. Product Overview
This product is an industrial-grade waterproof RJ45 panel mount connector assembly designed for Ethernet signal feedthrough in harsh outdoor and industrial environments. Each unit consists of a shielded RJ45 plug pre-terminated onto a black PVC-jacketed screened cable (rated 300V FT2 as printed on the cable jacket), housed inside a black threaded panel mount body with a tethered flip-top dust and weatherproof cap.
The threaded body features an external nut and locking ring for secure panel installation, creating a sealed bulkhead fitting that allows an Ethernet connection to pass through an enclosure wall while maintaining IP67-level ingress protection when the cap is closed. The metal-shielded RJ45 plug and screened cable construction provide EMI/RFI shielding, making this assembly suitable for electrically noisy industrial environments where signal integrity must be maintained over Ethernet runs.
Two units are shown in the image — one with the red-ringed cap (indicating a keyed or colour-coded variant) and one with a plain black cap — both attached to terminated cable assemblies ready for panel installation or direct field wiring.
Key features:
IP67 waterproof and dustproof when cap is closed
Threaded panel mount body for secure bulkhead installation
Tethered flip-top protective cap (cap stays attached, never lost)
Metal shielded RJ45 plug with screened cable for EMI protection
300V FT2 rated cable jacket
Available in colour-coded cap variants (red ring / plain black)
Compatible with standard RJ45 mating jacks and couplers
RoHS compliant

3. Application Scenarios
Outdoor Industrial Enclosures & Control Panels Used as a sealed Ethernet port on the exterior wall of outdoor electrical panels, industrial control cabinets, and junction boxes where IP67 protection is required to keep moisture, dust, and contaminants from entering the enclosure while maintaining network connectivity to internal PLCs, switches, or controllers.
Marine & Offshore Equipment Installed on boat consoles, offshore rig control systems, and marine navigation enclosures where saltwater spray and high humidity make standard RJ45 ports unreliable. The threaded body and IP67 cap prevent corrosion and short circuits caused by water ingress.
Traffic & Smart City Infrastructure Used on roadside cabinets, traffic signal controllers, IP cameras, and outdoor display panels where the Ethernet port must be accessible for service technicians but protected against rain, dust, and insects during normal operation.
Industrial Automation & Machine Building Provides sealed Ethernet connectivity on the exterior of production machinery, conveyor systems, and robotic workcells where the enclosure must be regularly washed down or is exposed to coolant, oil mist, or factory floor particulates.
Renewable Energy & Solar Installations Connects monitoring systems, inverters, and data loggers inside weatherproof enclosures at solar farms and wind turbines, where outdoor Ethernet connections must survive years of UV, rain, and temperature cycling.
Security & Surveillance Systems Panel mount feedthroughs for IP camera junction boxes and video surveillance enclosures, allowing installers to terminate field cables outside the box and maintain a sealed enclosure interior.
