Coated metal sheets are widely used in architectural decoration, appliance panels, and prefabricated wall panels due to their advantages such as strong decorative properties, corrosion resistance, and easy cleaning. To ensure a strong bond between the film and the metal substrate, a specific lamination process is required to achieve high-performance composite bonding. Surface Pretreatment: Oil and impurities are removed from the metal sheet surface, commonly using vacuuming or chemical cleaning methods to improve adhesion. Film Printing: The plastic film is pre-printed in color according to customer requirements to achieve visual effects such as wood grain, stone grain, and fabric texture. Hot Press Lamination: The metal sheet and the film are fed between upper and lower heated rollers, where they are fused under high temperature and pressure (approximately 200°C). Quality Monitoring: The system automatically detects problems such as bubbling, delamination, and discoloration in the coated sheets and provides real-time feedback for parameter adjustments. Waste Film Trimming and Rewinding: Excess scraps are trimmed and recycled. Finished coated sheets are rewound or cut to specifications. The lamination process for coated metal sheets has developed several mature technical pathways, effectively ensuring the bonding strength and durability between the film layer and the metal substrate.
