The Hojama bi-directional ball screw assembly is a precision mechanical component engineered for high-precision linear motion transmission. Featuring a dual-nut mechanism with left-hand and right-hand threads, it enables two nuts to move synchronously in opposite directions as the screw shaft rotates. This product is widely applied in industrial scenarios demanding stringent positioning accuracy and motion stability, including CNC machine tools, automation equipment, and precision measuring instruments.

Manufactured with precision grinding thread technology, the screw achieves accuracy grades of C3–C5, with cumulative lead error and positioning error controlled to micron levels to meet high-precision positioning requirements. The preload-adjustable dual-nut structure effectively eliminates axial backlash, significantly enhancing system rigidity and repeat positioning accuracy. In terms of transmission performance, rolling friction is realized between the ball bearings and the raceways of the screw and nut, with a friction coefficient merely 1/50 that of a lead screw, delivering a transmission efficiency of over 96% and drastically reducing driving power consumption and operational heat generation. The optimized internal recirculation design ensures smooth ball circulation, preventing jamming and enabling high-speed, stable reciprocating motion.

In terms of material and structural design, the product is made of high-strength bearing steels such as GCr15. After quenching and tempering, followed by surface hardening, the raceway surface hardness reaches HRC58–62, offering exceptional wear resistance and fatigue endurance.
