Alkyl Polyglucoside APG 0810 For Laundry Liquid

Alkyl Polyglycoside (English name: Alkyl Polyglycoside, APG) is a type of non-ionic surfactant formed by the combination of sugars (such as glucose and starch) and fatty alcohols through glycosidic bonds. It is also known as alkyl polysaccharide or alkyl polysaccharide glycoside. The hydrophilic group within its molecule consists of a sugar structure with multiple hydroxyl groups, and the average degree of polymerization is generally 1.2 to 1.8. The hydrophobic group is a long carbon chain, with common carbon numbers ranging from 8 to 14. To facilitate use, alkyl polyglycoside is often formulated as a 50% to 70% aqueous solution. Its products are mostly colorless or light yellow viscous liquids, resistant to acids and alkalis, soluble in water, insoluble in most organic solvents, and the solubility in water decreases as the molecular weight of the carbon chain increases.

APG 0810 Alkyl polyglucoside Applications and characteristics:

Alkyl polyglucoside APG CH-0810 is made from green and renewable plant materials, with low irritation to skin, good compatibility, without side effect.

The foam is rich and delicate, with good stability and emulsifying properties, could be well used in home care area. In addition, because of the high alkaline resistance, could be used in some special detergent, like hard surface cleaning, high temperature strong alkali refining agent in textile industry, bubble water and oil exploration as excellent foaming agent.

It could produce abundant foam, that reduce the friction between clothes, improve pine canopy of fabric, softness of fiber and cotton, which make cloth with a good feel.

Moreover, when APG CH-0810 is mixed with anionic Surfactant in dish washing detergent, the dish washing detergent have better property of oil remove, good foam, especially the excellent compatibility of skin, there is not any harm to skin, moreover, it’s green and environmental-friendly.
