Product Overview
A general purpose custom printed corrugated carton, offered in both 3 layer and 5 layer board so you can run one printed design across products with different weights. This is the carton that most export programmes settle on: it carries the logo, it protects the goods, and it does not blow the packaging budget.
The 3 layer version suits consumer goods, accessories and light household products. The 5 layer version takes over once contents get dense, sharp or fragile. Both can carry the same print, so your brand looks consistent across the range.

3 Layer or 5 Layer: A Practical Test
Weigh the packed carton. Under roughly 15 kg with soft, evenly distributed contents, 3 layer is usually enough and saves money on every unit and on freight. Above that, or when the contents are dense or have hard edges that can punch through the liner, move to 5 layer.
There is a second factor people forget: stacking time. A carton that sits in a container for six weeks under load needs more board than one that ships domestically and unloads the next day, even at the same weight. Corrugated board creeps under sustained load.
Getting the Print Right
- Send vector artwork (AI or PDF). Raster logos lose sharpness on corrugated.
- Keep small text above 6 pt for flexo printing; fine detail needs offset lamination.
- Allow for board movement. Corrugated is not paper, registration tolerance is wider.
- Approve a printed sample before the run. Screen colour and printed ink differ on kraft.

We supply a dieline for approval before tooling. Plain samples are free; printed samples are charged at cost and credited on the bulk order.
- Sample lead time: about 5-7 working days after artwork confirmation.
