This 90° angled surface mount / through-hole hybrid connector is designed for high-speed serial data transmission in compact storage devices, supporting SATA 2.0 (3Gbps) and SATA 3.0 (6Gbps) standards. The receptacle features a low-profile, right-angle housing molded from high-temperature UL94 V-0 rated LCP or PBT, with stamped phosphor bronze contacts selectively gold plated on mating areas and tin plated on solder tails. Key specifications: current rating 1.5A per contact, contact resistance <30mΩ, insulation resistance >1000MΩ, dielectric strength 500V AC, operating temperature -40°C to +85°C. The robust metal shell provides EMI shielding and mechanical retention.
 
  Applications include solid-state drives (SSD), notebook computers, ultrabooks, external portable hard drives, and embedded storage modules. Usage: solder the DIP tails through PCB holes using wave or reflow soldering (peak 260°C). The right-angle orientation allows edge‑mount placement, saving board space. Precautions: avoid excessive mating force (max 30N), ensure proper alignment before insertion, do not exceed 1.5A per contact.
