This right-angle wire-to-board wafer connector features a robust 6.35mm pitch, designed for high-current and high-vibration applications. The housing is molded from UL94 V-0 rated PBT or nylon 66, offering excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength. Contacts are stamped from phosphor bronze with selective tin or gold plating, rated up to 9A per circuit. Key specifications: contact resistance <20mΩ, insulation resistance >1000MΩ, dielectric strength 1500V AC, operating temperature -40°C to +105°C. The 90° orientation allows low-profile mating with PCB-mounted headers, ideal for space-constrained assemblies. Available in 2 to 12 circuits with optional friction lock or positive latch. RoHS, REACH compliant, UL recognized (E472792).

Applications include power supplies, battery chargers, electric tools, household appliances, automotive lighting, and industrial control panels. Usage: solder the through-hole pins to PCB using wave soldering (260°C peak). Mate with a corresponding 6.35mm straight wafer header; the locking mechanism provides secure retention. Precautions: do not exceed 9A per circuit, avoid reverse mating, ensure proper PCB hole size (1.8mm recommended). Advantages over competitors: Antenk’s series features reinforced lock strength (≥5kgf retention), brass terminals with extra-thick plating to prevent fretting corrosion.
