This IDC receptacle is designed for 1.27mm pitch flat ribbon cable, featuring a right angle orientation that allows the cable to exit parallel to the PCB, saving valuable board space. The housing is molded from high temperature UL94 V-0 PBT or nylon 6/6, and the NP non polarized design enables flexible cable insertion without worrying about pin 1 orientation. Contacts are stamped from phosphor bronze with selective gold plating on the mating area and tin on the IDC forks. Key specifications: current rating 1A per contact, contact resistance below 20 milliohms, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, dielectric strength 500V AC, and operating temperature from -40 to +105 degrees Celsius. The product is RoHS and REACH compliant and UL recognized under E472792.

Applications include computer peripherals, industrial controls, medical devices, telecommunications, and data storage systems. Usage method: terminate the ribbon cable using an IDC press tool, ensuring each conductor aligns with the fork contact. Solder the right angle receptacle to the PCB through its pins. Mating with a standard 1.27mm pin header creates a reliable connection. Precautions: do not exceed 1A per contact, avoid reverse cable insertion, and use proper tooling for termination. Advantages over competitors: Antenks NP design eliminates orientation errors, reducing assembly time. The right angle mount reduces cable stress and improves airflow. Coplanarity is controlled to within 0.08mm for defect free soldering. Low MOQs of 1000 units with no tooling fees for standard configurations.

Production process: in house mold design, injection molding on 10 Japanese and Taiwanese machines, high speed stamping on 9 presses, selective gold and tin plating, automated contact insertion and right angle forming, 100 percent electrical and coplanarity inspection, contact resistance and insulation testing, 48 hour salt spray test, and final QC with lot traceability.
