This H15 style connector is designed for high current applications, featuring a robust housing and enlarged contacts capable of handling significantly higher power than standard DIN41612 types. The right angle plug allows vertical board mounting with horizontal mating. The insulator is molded from high temperature UL94 V-0 PBT or glass filled polyester, providing excellent thermal stability up to 125 degrees Celsius. Power contacts are stamped from thick gauge phosphor bronze with selective gold or silver plating, rated up to 15A per contact. Signal contacts if present are rated 2A. Key specifications include contact resistance below 10 milliohms for power contacts, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, dielectric strength 1500V AC, and operating temperature from -55 to +125 degrees Celsius.
