This H15 style connector is designed for high current applications, featuring a robust housing and enlarged contacts capable of handling significantly higher power than standard DIN41612 types. The right angle plug allows vertical board mounting with horizontal mating. The insulator is molded from high temperature UL94 V-0 PBT or glass filled polyester, providing excellent thermal stability up to 125 degrees Celsius. Power contacts are stamped from thick gauge phosphor bronze with selective gold or silver plating, rated up to 15A per contact. Signal contacts if present are rated 2A. Key specifications include contact resistance below 10 milliohms for power contacts, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, dielectric strength 1500V AC, and operating temperature from -55 to +125 degrees Celsius. The product is RoHS and REACH compliant and UL recognized under E472792.

Applications include power supplies, industrial motor drives, battery management systems, telecom base stations, and railway electronics. Usage method: solder the right angle through hole pins to the PCB using wave or hand soldering. The H15 plug mates with a corresponding DIN41612 H15 receptacle, providing secure high power connection. Precautions: do not exceed rated current per contact, ensure proper alignment before mating, avoid excessive insertion force. Advantages over competitors: Antenks H15 connector uses extra thick gold or silver plating on power contacts to prevent fretting corrosion under high current. The housing features reinforced guide ribs for blind mating. Low MOQs of 500 units with no tooling fees for standard 15 position configuration.

Production process: in house mold design, injection molding on 10 Japanese and Taiwanese machines, high speed stamping of power contacts on 9 presses, selective gold or silver plating, automated pin insertion and right angle forming, 100 percent contact resistance and coplanarity inspection, dielectric and insulation testing, 48 hour salt spray test, and final QC with lot traceability.
