This vertical receptacle is designed for high current backplane or board to board applications, featuring enlarged female contacts that provide reliable power distribution. The insulator is molded from high temperature UL94 V-0 PBT or glass filled polyester, offering excellent mechanical strength and thermal stability up to 125 degrees Celsius. Power contacts are stamped from thick gauge phosphor bronze with selective gold or silver plating on the mating area, rated up to 15A per contact. Signal contacts if present are rated 2A. Key specifications include contact resistance below 10 milliohms for power contacts, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, dielectric strength 1500V AC, and operating temperature from -55 to +125 degrees Celsius.
