(IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 certified) presents the OBD 16P Male Angle Type connector, designed for on board diagnostic interfaces complying with SAE J1962 standard. This 16 pin male connector features a right angle orientation with a height of 13.9mm, allowing low profile installation in vehicle diagnostic ports. The housing is molded from high temperature UL94 V-0 PBT or PA66, providing mechanical strength and thermal stability up to 105 degrees Celsius. Contacts are stamped from phosphor bronze with selective gold or tin plating, rated for 12V DC with current capacity up to 5A per pin. Key specifications include contact resistance below 20 milliohms, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, dielectric strength 500V AC, and operating temperature from -40 to +105 degrees Celsius. The angled design facilitates mating with female OBD receptacles in tight spaces. RoHS and REACH compliant, UL recognized under E472792.

Applications include automotive diagnostic tools, scan tools, fleet management systems, vehicle telematics, and aftermarket testing equipment. Usage method: solder the right angle through hole pins to the PCB using wave or hand soldering. Insert the male connector into the vehicle’s OBD female receptacle until the latch locks. The standard 12V interface supports power and signal transmission. Precautions: do not exceed 5A per pin, ensure correct orientation before insertion, avoid excessive force.
