This precision header features a single row of 2.54mm pitch contacts with a unique U shaped pin design, where the terminal is formed into a U profile at the solder tail. This geometry provides increased solder joint surface area and enhanced mechanical retention on the PCB. The insulator is molded from high temperature UL94 V-0 PBT or nylon 6/6, ensuring dimensional stability through wave or reflow soldering. Contacts are stamped from phosphor bronze with selective gold or tin plating on the mating area, and pure tin on the U shaped solder tails. Key specifications include current rating 3A per contact, contact resistance below 20 milliohms, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, dielectric strength 500V AC, and operating temperature from -40 to +105 degrees Celsius.
