This high density right angle socket features three rows of 2.54mm pitch contacts, enabling up to 50 percent more connection points than dual row designs within the same board area. The insulator is molded from high temperature UL94 V-0 PBT or nylon 6/6, providing mechanical stability through wave soldering. Contacts are stamped from phosphor bronze with selective gold plating on the mating area and pure tin on the solder tails, featuring a dual leaf spring design for reliable gas tight connection. Key specifications include current rating 3A per contact, contact resistance below 20 milliohms, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, dielectric strength 500V AC, and operating temperature from -40 to +105 degrees Celsius. The right angle orientation allows parallel PCB mounting and perpendicular mating with three row pin headers. RoHS and REACH compliant, UL recognized under E472792.

Applications include high density interconnections in industrial controls, telecommunication equipment, medical imaging systems, data storage arrays, and automotive electronics. Usage method: solder the right angle through hole tails to the PCB using wave or hand soldering. Mate with a corresponding three row 2.54mm pin header. The 8.5mm height provides ample clearance for mating. Precautions: do not exceed 3A per contact, verify row alignment before soldering, avoid excessive insertion force. Production process: in house mold design, injection molding on 10 Japanese and Taiwanese machines, high speed stamping of dual leaf contacts on 9 presses, selective gold and tin plating, automated insertion into three row housing, right angle forming, 100 percent coplanarity and contact position inspection, contact resistance and insulation tests, 48 hour salt spray test, and final QC with lot traceability.
