This right angle wire to board header features a 4.20mm pitch, designed for medium to high power applications requiring secure locking and vibration resistance. The housing is molded from high temperature UL94 V-0 PBT or nylon 66, equipped with a positive locking ramp that provides audible mating confirmation. Contacts are stamped from phosphor bronze with selective tin or gold plating, rated up to 9A per circuit. Key specifications include contact resistance below 10 milliohms, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, dielectric strength 1500V AC, and operating temperature from -40 to +105 degrees Celsius. The 90° orientation allows parallel PCB mounting with vertical cable exit, saving board space. RoHS and REACH compliant, UL recognized under E472792.

Applications include power supplies, battery chargers, LED lighting, industrial controls, home appliances, and automotive electronics. Usage method: solder the through hole pins to the PCB using wave soldering. Mate with a corresponding 4.20mm crimp style female housing; the lock engages with a click. Precautions: do not exceed 9A per circuit, ensure proper crimping of terminals, verify latch engagement. Production process: in house mold design, injection molding on 10 Japanese and Taiwanese machines, high speed stamping of terminals on 9 presses, selective plating, automated pin insertion and right angle forming, 100 percent coplanarity and contact position inspection, contact resistance and insulation tests, 48 hour salt spray test, and final QC with lot traceability.
