Huizhou Antenk Electronics Co., Ltd. (IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 certified) presents the 2.50mm pitch Housing Connector Series. These single and dual row insulation housings are designed for wire to board or wire to wire applications, accepting crimp terminals to create secure, field installable connections. The 2.50mm pitch offers a balanced combination of current capacity (up to 3A per circuit) and space efficiency, ideal for compact consumer and industrial devices. The housing is molded from UL94 V-0 rated high temperature PBT or nylon 66, providing excellent flame retardancy, mechanical strength, and heat resistance up to 125°C. Each cavity features a molded lance retention system that securely locks pre crimped terminals in place with an audible click, preventing backout under vibration. Polarization ribs and keyway slots eliminate misinsertion, and optional positive latching wings or friction locks on the outer walls provide additional mating security with corresponding wafer headers. The open body design allows visual inspection of terminal seating. Key specifications include operating temperature from -40 to +105 degrees Celsius, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, and dielectric strength 1000V AC. RoHS and REACH compliant, UL recognized under E472792.
Applications include LED lighting drivers, small home appliances, battery packs, security cameras, medical monitoring devices, automotive interior modules, and industrial control panels where reliable but field maintainable connections are needed. Usage method: crimp the appropriate 2.50mm pitch terminals onto stripped wires using a hand or automatic crimping tool. Insert the terminated wire into the housing cavity until the lance locks with a click. To remove, use a dedicated extraction tool to depress the lance. Mate the housing with a corresponding 2.50mm wafer header or another housing (for wire to wire). Precautions: use only specified terminals, verify complete insertion, avoid exceeding current rating, do not reuse terminals after removal. Advantages over competitors: Antenks housing features a reinforced lance design tested to 5000 insertion cycles without loss of retention force. The polarized keyway and double locking wings reduce the risk of accidental unmating under vibration by 30 percent compared to standard friction lock designs. Low MOQs of 1000 units with no tooling fees for standard circuits (2 to 16 pins).
Production process: in house mold design, injection molding on 10 Japanese and Taiwanese machines using high temperature PBT/nylon, 100 percent cavity inspection with vision systems for flash and gate residue, post molding annealing for stress relief, dimensional verification (pin pitch tolerance ±0.05mm), 48 hour heat aging test at 105°C, and final QC with lot traceability.
