VCM Laminated Film for Home Appliances

Base Film Material: PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or PET (polyester); thickness of 50–100 μm. PVC film: Low cost and easy to process (suitable for complex textures), but has limited temperature resistance (long-term use ≤70°C; requires plasticizers). PET film: Excellent temperature resistance (long-term use ≤120°C) and eco-friendly (plasticizer-free); suitable for high-temperature applications such as ovens and microwaves. Function: Supports the printing layer and provides mechanical strength (tensile and tear resistance). Printing Layer Process: Color and texture (such as high-gloss white, brushed silver, or faux wood grain) are applied to the surface of the base film via gravure or digital printing. Ink: Solvent-based or water-based inks are used, incorporating pearlescent powders and metallic pigments to simulate a metallic finish; color saturation exceeds that of traditional paints (ΔE ≤ 1.0). Refrigerator Door Panels (Primary Application) This is the sector with the highest VCM penetration rate. As a visual focal point in the living room or kitchen, refrigerators demand a high-quality metallic or mirror-like finish. High-Gloss Series: Achieves a mirror-like, piano-lacquer finish through PET lamination; offers high reflectivity and easy cleaning, commonly found on multi-door or side-by-side refrigerators. Metallic Textures: Uses a printed layer within the film to simulate textures such as silk, brushed aluminum, or stainless steel. Unlike real metal, these surfaces are f
