1.1 General Description
Sound absorbing acoustic wall panel is a new type of integrated interior building material that integrates professional noise reduction, sound absorption, fire prevention, environmental protection and decorative wall finishing. Different from traditional single-function sound insulation cotton or hard sound insulation boards that only block sound transmission, our acoustic wall panels adopt porous microporous physical sound absorption technology, focusing on absorbing indoor reflected noise and eliminating reverberation and echo, rather than simply isolating external noise. It solves the common indoor acoustic problems including blurred speech, harsh echo, noisy background noise and poor sound effect in entertainment spaces perfectly.
1.2 Product Composition & Material Structure
- Surface Decorative Layer: Premium polyester fabric / flame-retardant knitted fabric, multiple texture options including matte, linen texture and fine woven texture. The fabric has good air permeability to ensure smooth penetration of sound waves, meanwhile it features wear resistance, anti-scratch, anti-fading and stain resistance.
- Core Sound Absorbing Layer: High-density environmentally friendly polyester fiber sound-absorbing cotton, density reaches 48kg/m³. Uniform internal porous structure, stable sound absorption coefficient, no powder falling, no fiber shedding.
- Bottom Reinforced Backing Layer: Breathable non-woven fabric backing, which fixes the internal fiber structure effectively, prevents internal fiber displacement caused by external collision, and enhances the overall flatness and impact resistance of the panel. The breathable bottom layer will not block air circulation, avoiding wall moisture mildew caused by fully enclosed sound insulation materials.

4.1 Pre-installation Preparation
- Keep the wall flat, dry, clean and free of floating ash, oil stain and bulge; repair wall cracks and pits in advance.
- Check panel integrity: confirm no surface fabric damage, no core layer deformation before construction.
- Reserve circuit switches and socket positions on the wall in advance, and cut panels according to reserved sizes.
4.2 Step-by-Step Glue Bonding Installation
- Mark positioning lines on the wall according to panel size to ensure neat splicing.
- Apply point-shaped or strip-shaped environmental adhesive evenly on the back of the acoustic panel.
- Fit the panel to the marked wall position, press evenly for 30-60 seconds to ensure firm bonding.
- Splice panels in turn, control splicing gap within 1mm for overall beauty.
- Clean residual glue on panel surface after installation is completed.
4.3 Installation Precautions
- Do not use strong corrosive glue to avoid damaging panel fabric and core material.
- Avoid long-term direct water soaking on panels, suitable for indoor dry and semi-humid environments, not for outdoor fully exposed use.
- When cutting panels, use fine-tooth saw to prevent fabric edge fraying.
- For wall corners, use corner accessories for wrapping to enhance overall firmness and aesthetics.
