Fluorescent Brightener CBS-X CAS No.: 27344-41-8，Its molecular structure contains sodium sulfonate hydrophilic groups and a conjugated double bond chromophore system, which provides excellent whitening performance and water solubility. It is one of the most widely used fluorescent brighteners in the textile and daily chemical industries.Fluorescent Brightener CBS-X (CAS No.: 27344-41-8) appears as a pale yellow to white powder with no obvious odor. It is readily soluble in water (solubility approximately 10 g/L at 25°C), and its aqueous solution is weakly alkaline with a pH value of 7–9. It is acid-resistant down to pH 4 and alkali-resistant up to pH 11. cbsx powder shows high stability below 80°C and does not decompose easily under ultraviolet irradiation. It absorbs ultraviolet light at 340–380 nm and emits blue fluorescence at 400–460 nm. By optical complementary effect, it neutralizes the yellow tint of materials, achieving high whiteness and brightness;It is mainly used in textile dyeing and printing for whitening cellulose fibers such as cotton, linen, viscose, as well as polyamide.
