The core working pinciple of circular type strapping machine
The core component of this type of strapping machine is a circular (or C-shaped) banding ring.
1. Winding and threading: The equipment will send out the steel wire, which will wind around the circular track or through the rotating loops, encircling the steel bar bundle once or multiple times, forming a ring-shaped steel wire loop.
2. Tightening and cutting: After the steel wire is properly wound, the mechanism will tighten it, ensuring that the steel wire closely adheres to the surface of the steel bar bundle, and then cut the steel wire.
3. Tightening fixation: Finally, the two ends of the steel wire are twisted together through a tightening mechanism (such as a rotating gripper) to complete the binding.
The main types of circular steel bar strapping machine
1. Automatic bar materials strapping machine
Main features: Large-scale fixed equipment is integrated at the end of the production line. It can automatically complete the entire set of operations including wire feeding, winding, tensioning and twisting, with high efficiency. The bundling cycle only takes 8 to 15 seconds.
Typical applications:
Steel mills, large metal recycling centers, are used for bundling steel bars such as rebar, round steel, and profiles.
2. Steel coil circumferential strapping machine
Main features: Designed specifically for bundling large steel coils. It has a sturdy structure and high tension. Usually used in conjunction with a conveying line, it can achieve fully automatic circumferential bundling.
Application: Steel smelting and metal processing enterprises use it for bundling steel coils, aluminum coils, etc.
3. Semi-auto strapping machine
Main features: Semi-automatic mechanism, partially capable of being operated upright.
Application: Rebar processing plant, used for bundling prefabricated reinforced concrete cages or conducting small-scale, multi-specification bundling operations.
Key technical parameters reference
1. When choosing the equipment, the following parameters need to be given special attention to ensure that the production requirements are met:
2. Bundling object dimensions: The minimum and maximum diameters/lengths of the steel bars or steel coils that the equipment can handle.
3. Binding materials: The specifications of the binding wire or binding tape used, such as 6.5mm diameter hot-rolled wire rod, steel tape, or PET plastic steel tape.
4. Bundling efficiency: The time required to complete one bundling operation, which is of vital importance to the production line's rhythm.
5. Tension force: The pressure exerted by the steel wire on the steel bar bundle after binding, directly affects the tightness of the binding.
6. Automation level: Is it a single-machine semi-automatic device, or a fully automatic device that can be connected to the MES/ERP system?
