Diamond grid adhesive-coated insulation paper is a high-performance modified insulating material specifically developed for oil-immersed power transformers. It is produced by coating a uniform layer of thermosetting epoxy adhesive in a diamond grid pattern on the surface of high-quality kraft insulation paper or crepe insulation paper.

Core Structure & Manufacturing Process
- Base paper: The substrate is usually high-density electrical grade kraft paper, which has excellent dielectric strength, oil absorption capacity and mechanical toughness, laying a solid foundation for insulation performance.
- Adhesive layer: The diamond grid pattern adhesive is made of solvent-free epoxy resin. The grid design balances adhesion and oil permeability—the adhesive dots ensure bonding reliability, while the grid gaps reserve channels for transformer oil to penetrate.
- Production process: The base paper is subjected to precision coating (grid line width and spacing can be customized), then undergoes heating and curing to make the adhesive firmly attached to the paper surface without falling off during processing.
