DIN41612 Type B Vertical Press Fit Female Connector

Manufactured by Huizhou Antenk Electronics Co., Ltd, the DFS series DIN 41612 vertical Type B press fit female connector with 32 positions is a standard industrial backplane connector built for stable signal and low power interconnection between circuit boards. Per drawing specifications, this connector supports 16 pin and 32 pin options with 2.54mm standard pitch. Its insulator adopts PBT filled with 30 percent glass fiber material that meets UL94V-0 flame retardant requirement. Brass contacts are available with gold flash, selective gold plating in various thicknesses and tin over nickel plating to meet different anti oxidation and conductivity demands. Core electrical parameters include 2.0 Amp rated current, minimum 1000MΩ insulation resistance and maximum 20mΩ contact resistance, withstanding 1000V AC for one minute and operating reliably from minus 55°C to plus 105°C. Three kinds of press fit pin lengths are provided to fit different PCB thicknesses, with strictly controlled insertion and withdrawal force to ensure durable mating performance. Our complete manufacturing process includes independent precision mold development, high speed brass terminal stamping, high temperature resistant plastic injection molding, surface electroplating and automatic assembly. Taiwan precision punching equipment and Japanese injection molding machines keep all dimensional tolerances within strict limits to match standardized PCB layout.

 

This vertical press fit female DIN connector is mainly installed by press fitting pins into pre drilled PCB holes following the official PCB layout drawing, then mated with corresponding DIN41612 male plug to establish stable circuit transmission. It is widely applied in industrial control backplanes, communication rack equipment, automated testing instruments, embedded industrial computers, network switching modules and power distribution control units. During assembly, users shall avoid excessive pressing force to prevent PCB pad peeling and insulator cracking. Operation must not exceed rated current and voltage to avoid contact ablation. Unused connectors should be stored in dry sealed packaging to prevent brass terminals from rusting and oxidation.
