0.8mm VERTICAL SMD EDGE RATE CARD SOCKET

Manufactured by Huizhou Antenk Electronics Co., Ltd, this 0.8mm pitch vertical SMD edge rate card socket is a professional surface mount edge card connector designed for PCB board to board signal transmission and expansion card connection. According to drawing specifications, this connector has a fixed body height of 8.0mm and supports pin counts ranging from 26 pins up to 180 pins to meet multi-channel signal transmission demands. The internal elastic contact pieces are made of high elasticity copper alloy, with customizable surface plating including gold flash and multiple thickness selective gold plating as well as tin plating options to enhance oxidation resistance and long-term conductive stability. Its electrical performance includes 1.0A rated current and 300V AC DC rated voltage, capable of enduring 500V AC withstand voltage for one minute. It can operate stably under 90 percent relative humidity within the temperature range from minus 55 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius. The vertical SMD structure is matched with standard PCB layout footprint to fully adapt to automatic reflow soldering production. Our complete production process consists of independent precision mold development, high-speed copper terminal stamping, high-temperature plastic injection molding, anti-corrosion electroplating and automated assembly. Imported Taiwan punching equipment and Japanese injection molding machines keep all outline and soldering dimensions within strict tolerance limits for consistent mass production quality.

 

This vertical edge card socket adopts tape and reel packaging exclusively to fit fully automatic SMT patch assembly lines. Operators align the SMD soldering feet with reserved pads on printed circuit boards following the official PCB layout drawing and finish reflow soldering fixation, then insert the matching edge expansion card into the socket slot to complete signal interconnection between two circuit boards. It is widely applied in industrial control backplane systems, communication switching equipment, data storage expansion modules, embedded industrial computers, test measurement instruments and digital signal processing devices. During usage, users must strictly control reflow temperature curve to prevent plastic housing thermal deformation, avoid forced plugging to prevent elastic contact fatigue damage, and store unused connectors in dry sealed environment to prevent terminal oxidation.
