Manufactured by Huizhou Antenk Electronics Co., Ltd, the AW3961 series 3.96mm pitch 180 degree straight wafer connector is a classic through-hole wire-to-board connection component for medium current power and signal transmission. According to drawing specifications, this 3-position wafer connector adopts 3.96mm fixed pitch layout. The insulating housing is injection molded from Nylon 66 material that complies with UL94V-0 flame retardant standard, while internal conductive pins are made of brass with full tin plating on contact areas to enhance soldering stability and oxidation resistance. Its core electrical parameters include 250V AC DC rated voltage and 7A rated current, minimum 1000MΩ insulation resistance and maximum 20mΩ contact resistance, which can withstand 1500V AC voltage for one minute dielectric strength test. It can operate stably within the temperature range from minus 25°C to plus 85°C. Key dimensional dimensions are strictly marked and inspected during production to guarantee interchangeability with matching wire crimp housing. Our complete standardized production process includes independent precision mold development, high-speed brass terminal stamping, Nylon injection molding, tin electroplating and automatic pin assembly. Imported Taiwan high-speed punching machines and Japanese precision injection molding equipment ensure all PCB layout dimensions stay within tight tolerance limits for stable through-hole wave soldering.

 

This straight 180 degree wafer connector supports conventional bulk packaging for manual assembly production lines. Operators insert the vertical straight pins into reserved holes on printed circuit boards following the official PCB layout drawing and finish wave soldering fixation, then crimp wires onto matching female housing terminals and lock the housing into the male wafer header to complete wire to board circuit connection. It is widely applied in industrial control drive modules, household air conditioner control boards, washing machine mainboards, power supply adapters, small motor driving circuits, digital display equipment and conventional instrumentation devices. During assembly and application, users must control soldering temperature reasonably to avoid Nylon housing melting deformation, avoid excessive pulling force on connected wires to prevent pin loosening or terminal detachment, and store unused connectors in dry sealed packaging to prevent tin plated brass pins from rusting.
