Manufactured by Huizhou Antenk Electronics Co., Ltd, the DFS series DIN41612 Type B vertical female connector with maximum 48 positions is a standard industrial backplane receptacle designed to mate with corresponding DIN41612 male plugs for stable signal and low power circuit transmission between rack PCB boards. According to engineering drawing standards, this connector adopts fixed 2.54mm pitch, supporting 24 pin single row and 48 pin double row two mainstream layout modes, and it provides two structural versions with or without locking fork for anti-loosening assembly. The insulating housing is injection molded from PBT material filled with 30 percent glass fiber that complies with UL94V-0 flame retardant standard. Elastic brass contact terminals are available with gold flash, various thickness selective gold plating and tin over nickel plating surface treatment to reduce contact resistance and improve anti-tarnish durability. Its electrical performance includes 2.0A rated current, minimum 1000MΩ insulation resistance and maximum 20mΩ contact resistance, withstanding 1000V AC dielectric voltage for one minute and operating reliably within the temperature range from minus 55°C to plus 105°C. Multiple through-hole pin tail lengths are optional to fit PCBs of different thickness, with limited overall insertion force and specified minimum withdrawal force per single contact to guarantee long-term tight mating. Our complete production workflow consists of independent precision mold development, high-speed brass terminal stamping, high temperature resistant plastic injection molding, anti-corrosion electroplating and automatic assembly. Imported Taiwan high-speed punching machines and Japanese precision injection molding equipment strictly control all PCB layout dimensional tolerances to match standard wave soldering processes.

 

This vertical female DIN connector is installed by inserting straight solder pins into reserved through holes on printed circuit boards following the official PCB layout drawing and completing wave soldering fixation, then inserting matched DIN41612 male plugs into the female receptacle to form complete inter-board power and signal connection loops. It is widely applied in industrial control cabinet backplanes, communication equipment rack modules, automatic testing instruments, embedded industrial computers, signal collection devices and precision measuring instruments. During soldering and application, users must strictly control heating temperature to prevent plastic insulator thermal deformation, avoid violent plugging to prevent elastic contact fatigue and permanent deformation, and store unused connectors in dry sealed packaging to prevent brass terminals from oxidation and corrosion.
